Updates and freebie

Life marches on each day, things happen, sometimes terrible things just like the earthquakes in Emilia Romagna, sometimes annoying one  like two of my biggest galleries disappearing from web, sometimes sad like Coolscrapdigital Forum closing down, sometimes sad just like Ro Paxman leaving her spot at Scrap  Girls. The world is changing around me, my world is changing and I hope it will change in a better way.

Today I am gonna ask for some prayers for the earthquake victims in my country, for all the families who lost their houses and means of subsistence.

7000 people are living in tents

We too felt the earthquakes: the first one was more than 10 days ago and the last big one was on Thursday morning.

 A. was at school and all the children were sent to the garden, Dh and I, we were at home and the feeling of pavement moving under us ( we live on the 3rd floor) was incredible, the kitchen doors moving.... pure panic, it was so strong and long... If I felt it that way I can hardly imagine what people have felt near Finale ( we are 250 ca. from the epicentre). Definitely scary. It's not a good time for my country... not so difficult as for the Greeks in their country, or Spain but difficult , lot of taxes, new taxes, no jobs or difficulties in finding one, everything is very expensive... food...gasoline... social services. I think we did not have such a critical situation since the '70 and we are running towards a post second World War alike situation.... What I think about it is the finance is the problem, its making money playing with money, not the real economy on which investments should be made, cause Italians do work hard, we are positive and pro-positive people, most of us. We have problems with the south part of the country, a little slower, while the North heads forward like a fast train. We will do it once again, this horrible earthquakes will not stop us!
